Advertising and Branding Program Manager

The Program Manager is responsible for managing various programs from planning through the final stages of delivery and execution. The candidate should excel at building relationships while also balancing both the needs and requirements of the business, along with the needs and requirements of the internal teams to ensure the quality of work is high, projects run efficiently and there is clear streamlined communications throughout. You will serve as a key point of contact between multiple groups within the organization to help deliver flawless marketing and advertising programs that are on time, budget and strategy.   Experience in program and project management as well as marketing and/or advertising is required. The ideal candidate will have strong written and communication skills with a strategic mindsight.

  • Develop full knowledge of all factors (internal and external/market) affecting the business’s marketing goals and plans as well as full knowledge of the current marketing situation
  • Help develop, articulate and adhere to, agreed upon strategies
  • Develop and articulate points-of-view relative to strategic, creative and media initiatives
  • Effectively plan and organize the work handling multiple projects efficiently, effectively and productively.
Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Strategy, Marketing and business partners
  • Manage end to end campaign development
  • Create and maintain project plans and budgets
  • Provide continuous updates to relevant parties through the lifecycle of the project
  • Understand requirement documents to ensure successful development and execution
  • Work closely with Strategy Team to understand the client’s objectives, message strategy, KPIs and timeline
  • Ensure all project specifications and assets are correct and ready to be provided to the necessary teams
  • Partner Management: serve as the main point of contact across Creative, Production, Compliance and Marketing to ensure all parties have a common understanding of priorities and expectations throughout the implementation to the program
  • Assess and mitigate risk
  • Conduct vendor assessments; review production contracts and manage vendor relationships
  • Reconcile financials where necessary
  • Overall responsibility to deliver flawlessly, ensuring all work is on schedule and on brand
  • Ongoing reporting to internal stakeholders and executive sponsors on program metrics
  • Continuously stay up to date of current industry and marketing trends
  • Bring technology innovation and a creative perspective to the production/execution of projects
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 7-10 years project/program management in a marketing or advertising department
  • Bring technology innovation and a creative perspective to the production/execution of projects
  • Experience with banner production, application development, site builds, mobile
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML
  • Experience working with programmatic media through demand side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs) and 3rdparty media partners for audience data
  • Strong knowledge of / familiarity with third-party tracking/reporting systems
  • Estimate level of effort for creative development as well as production
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, providers, team members, management, and other contacts
  • Strong ability to handle complaints & diffuse difficult situations quickly and effectively
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to agilely handle heavy workload, mediating many demands and requests with proactive problem solving
  • Able to see the big picture while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Relationship management focus with strong negotiation skills
  • Effective team player

  • Excellent computer skills (especially with Microsoft Products), familiarity with Workfront is a plus
