Finance and Accounting Manager – Private Market Funds

Our client, one of largest hedge-funds and private equity firms in the world is seeking a Fund Accounting, Finance, and Reporting Manager to focus on all aspects of Fund Reporting related to their Private Market Fund portfolio(s).
 
Requirements:
 
  • Reviewing quarterly GAAP financial statements for each of clients Private Market Funds required for public company reporting as well as LP reporting (including, but not limited to, balance sheet, statement of changes in partners equity, statement of cash flows)
  • Reviewing annual audited tax financial statements for each of clients Private Market Funds and associated internal entities
  • Reviewing annual audited GAAP financial statements for each of clients Private Market Funds and associated internal entities
  • Review partner allocations for income tax reporting
  • Responsible for reviewing transactions in Investran (income allocation, partner transfers, etc.)
  • Review the quarterly reserves for executives of client
  • Assist in driving accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiatives
Qualifications:
 
  •  5-7 years of accounting and industry experience with an understanding of public and private funds
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business required; CPA preferred
  • Experience working effectively with others in a team setting; ability to network across Finance teams
  • Willingness to work long hours at critical times (i.e., quarterly closes, year-end April 30th deadline, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and experience with Investran a plus
