Project Manager – Payment Operations (ISO 20022)

Our client a top-tier Management and Strategy Consulting firm is seeking to bring on a couple Sr. Project Managers with Payment Operations (ISO 20022) experience onto their Wholesale and Retail Banking practice to support various consulting projects/efforts with their Financial Services Banking end clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Liase with technology and other stakeholders
  • Ensure design of global solution meets requirements of the US Bank
  • Ensure solution aligns with US Platform architecture and groups roadmap, standards, and policies
  • Convert high level requirements into actionable product/service/operational requirements for technology solutions
  • Manage project approach, build stakeholder buy-in of project plan, commitments, and changes
  • Support operations and technology to manage delivery, scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communication, budget
  • Manage, monitor, report progress, issues, dependencies, risks to program management, steer co, stakeholders
  • Make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress toward successful delivery
  • Ensure adherence to controls, compliance frameworks, capability management, security and technology architecture design
  • Establish governance and control in line with Business Transformation Framework coordinated across DevOps, and across functional & business delivery teams
Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of US Payments including Financial Markets Utilities (FMUs) FEDwire, CHIPS Networks, BAFT-IFSA, SWIFT, GPI
  • Understanding of ISO20022 message formats and industry integration
  • Strong managerial, communications, planning, organizational, decision making, negotiating and PM skills
  • Strong Agile PM skills, Digital Jira, Confluence
  • Experience managing 10-50 onshore/offshore resources
  • Robust understanding Payment Products: FINASTRA Global Payments Plus (GPP), PEGA Smart Investigate & end to end payment flows
  • Familiar with lean/six sigma/Operational Excellence methodologies
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
