Senior Business Analyst – Corporate Actions

Our client, a top tier Management Consulting firm if looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Corporate Actions. This contractor will be responsible for gathering requirements for a technical implementation supporting Corporate Actions operational activities for the US Wealth Management division of a large bank.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 10 + years of business analysis experience within Wealth Management
  • Experience with Broadridge’s Astrid Corporate Actions platform
  • Knowledge on Corporate Actions in the financial services industry is required
  • Knowledge in all aspects of business analysis and basic understanding of the system development life cycle
  • (SDLC)
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Possesses superior interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • Strong organizational skills to manage time, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Ability to draw upon experience, judgment, and solid business acumen to offer insights
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to gather high level and low lever requirements
  • Document business and technical requirements; current/future state and gap analysis.
  • Provide clear, articulate, ability to concisely frame messages and converse with Senior Leadership team
  • members at MD and COO levels
  • Manage client facing meetings to obtain business requirements
  • Ability to strategically assess business needs and push the business to critically think beyond current state
  • processes to reimagined opportunities
  • Familiarity with standard project management artifacts
  • Participate and/or lead business requirement sessions, acting as a facilitator to drive requirement gathering,
  • developing action plans and resolving risks.
