Reconciliation Specialist

Our client, a top-tier Management and Strategy consulting firm is seeking a qualified Business Analyst for a top tier US Bank. The Business Analyst will work with the US Head of BRCS’s (Business Reconciliation Control Services) team, to help improve the processes and supporting documentation update to BRCS’s end-to end reconciliation process. One of the analyst’s key deliverables will be to assess BRCS’s near-shore reconciliation team.  The assessment will include the evaluation of the near-shore team’s skill set and develop a training process based on the findings.  The resulting evaluation will then lead to developing processes and a model for the reconciliation team and business owners that aligns with the BRCS Global processes. Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Lead and oversee initiatives to address knowledge transfer gaps between the U.S and near-shore Teams.
  • Create and execute skill assessments that help understand the capacity and efficiencies of the team.
  • Coordinate comprehensive training programs for reconciliation teams and U.S. business owners.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Review Total System Services (TSYS) processes to identify gaps and areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance TSYS end-to-end process.
  • Document and revise process maps to ensure accuracy and alignment with BRCS process.
  • Manage daily reconciliation of accounts by identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with both break-owners and business owners for effective issue resolution.
  • Experience in project management – leading teams through complex processes.
  • Ability to identify gaps in knowledge transfer.
  • Background in the financial reconciliation process – managing daily reconciliation.
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in the reconciliation process.
  • Proficient in documenting end-to-end processes and creating accurate and impactful process maps.
  • Skilled in developing and deploying training programs, while ensuring clarity on roles and expectations.
  • Familiarity with Total System Services (TSYS)
  • Analyze TSYS processes and develop plans for improvement and collaboration with stakeholders.
